About us

Nate’s Mow n Grow started in the spring of 2020 with basic equipment and very little direction. At the time, I was 12 years old and still figuring things out.

It began with a few nearby lawns and neighbors willing to give me a chance. I didn’t have a plan or a business in mind yet—I was simply doing the work, learning by trial and error, and improving as I went.

Understanding the Basics (2021-22)

As more people started asking for help, the work slowly expanded. I took on only what I could handle at the time and learned firsthand how much effort and organization even small jobs required. Mistakes were part of the process, and each season brought new lessons.

Gradual Progress (2023-24)

My first ride-on mower was an old tractor mower a neighbor no longer needed. I fixed it up and used it to get from job to job before I was even licensed. It wasn’t ideal, but it allowed me to keep going and gradually improve what I could offer.

Over the years, the focus shifted from simply getting through jobs to taking pride in the results. Expectations rose; both from customers and from myself. Even without formal licensing early on, the goal became clear: do better work, be more reliable, and take the responsibility seriously.

Reinvesting back into the work (2025)

Reinvesting back into the work.
After years of learning on basic equipment, upgrading to commercial-grade machines became necessary to deliver more consistent results and handle a growing workload.

Recently, Nate’s Mow & Grow became a licensed and insured operation. This marked an important step forward—formalizing the business, adding protections for clients, and setting the foundation for intentional growth.

Winter 2025 provided the opportunity to step back and plan what comes next. With licensing, insurance, and clear standards now in place, the business is preparing to expand in a way that stays true to how it was built: steady growth, honest work, and consistent quality.

We are currently welcoming new clients for the upcoming season. If you’re interested in becoming part of our routes this spring, we encourage you to reach out as schedules begin to fill.
